Jacob ten Brinke is a dedicated advocate for Hamilton Mountain, strongly committed to putting community needs first. With 14 years as a Leader in the Canadian Armed Forces, Jacob developed the skills to make difficult decisions under pressure and lead with integrity. His experience as a small business owner gives him firsthand insight into the challenges that local businesses face, from heavy taxes to complex regulations. Jacob is committed to cutting red tape and lowering tax burdens so that Hamilton Mountain’s local economy can thrive.
Having served as a political aide across various government levels, Jacob has the experience and knowledge to navigate government processes and deliver practical solutions. He has seen how effective policy can address critical issues like affordable housing, public safety, and economic opportunity.
Academically, Jacob holds an MBA, alongside degrees in History and Political Science from McMaster University, which provide a strong foundation in business and governance. Combined, his leadership background, business acumen, and political experience make him a BIG VOICE for Hamilton Mountain, ensuring every resident has a representative who listens, understands, and acts.
For me, serving Hamilton Mountain is about more than policy—it’s about putting people first.
